Items we record
- Connection details: the IP address your request arrives from, an approximate geolocation guessed from that IP (town or province level at best), the user agent your browser announces, the kind of device, and which card pages were fetched.
- Letters: whatever name, reply-to address, subject and text you include when you email us.
- Your cookie answer: saved in local storage within your own browser.
Uses and lawful bases
- Delivering the drawer and fending off attacks or abuse, on the ground of legitimate interest.
- Analytics, tallying in total which cards get read, resting on consent.
- Marketing through affiliate attribution, letting partners credit a reservation to gainifymax, resting on consent.
- Answering letters, resting on legitimate interest or on steps you asked for.
Who else handles it
Our hosting and analytics vendors process connection details for us. If you switch advertising on, referral and affiliate networks receive tokens that match a later reservation to a gainifymax click. Hotel websites you continue to follow their own privacy terms. Letters are never sold or rented.
Some vendors sit in other countries, including Canada and the US; when moving data across a border requires protection, the transfer leans on recognised legal instruments, standard contractual clauses being the usual one.
Storage periods
Raw logs are purged within 90 days and pooled analytics within 26 months. Letters are kept while we correspond and up to 24 months beyond. Twelve months after your cookie answer, the panel asks you afresh.
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR
Ask us to show, correct, erase, restrict or hand over your data; object to processing grounded in legitimate interest; withdraw consent whenever you like, which leaves earlier processing intact. Unhappy with our answer? Take it to the privacy watchdog that covers your home country or state.
Under the CCPA and CPRA
California residents can find out what categories and individual pieces of personal information gainifymax holds, get them fixed or erased, narrow how anything sensitive gets used, and say no to gainifymax selling it or sharing it to aim adverts at you on unrelated websites and apps. Whenever your browser broadcasts Global Privacy Control, gainifymax files that as your opt-out and keeps the advertising switch dark. Using any of these rights never costs you service quality.

Young people
gainifymax is aimed at grown-up travellers and does not set out to collect anything from people under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor wrote to us can ask, and the letter will be erased.

Send a note to privacy@gainifymax.com naming the right concerned. Expect a brief identity check, then a reply inside the statutory window.
